Lily Coates and Gavin Youngs formed The Apiary in 2009, specialising in films made about and in collaboration with musicians, theatre-makers, dancers and visual artists.
Recent commissions include video projections for Alice Topp's Scope (as part of The Australian Ballet's Bodytorque programme), artist portraits for Arts Victoria, and a series of short art vignettes for SBS's subscription channel STVDIO.
